How ACE TWA Aqua Technology Works: A Deep Dive
ACE TWA (Treatment Water Activator) Aqua Technology is a multi-stage process that purifies and revitalizes water without the use of harmful chemicals. It mimics natural purification methods, leveraging a unique catalytic process to achieve superior results.
Catalyst Activation and Ionization
-
The TWA Catalyst: At the heart of the system lies the TWA catalyst, composed of specially formulated proprietary catalytic materials. These balls are designed to emit a high concentration of negatively charged ions when water flows through them. This process is akin to the natural ionization that occurs in healthy ecosystems.
-
Ionization Process: As water passes through the catalyst bed, these negatively charged ions interact with water molecules (H₂O), causing them to break down into smaller clusters. This process also disrupts the bonds of pollutants present in the water, including organic matter (measured as COD/BOD), nutrient chains (nitrogen, phosphorus), and ionic hardness (calcium, magnesium).

Neutralization and Destabilization
-
Pollutant Neutralization: The negatively charged ions released by the catalyst neutralize the positive charges of dissolved pollutants, effectively destabilizing and converting them into inert, suspended particles. This process prevents the pollutants from re-bonding with water molecules.
-
Hardness Removal: Similarly, the negative ions neutralize the ionic hardness, preventing scale formation and protecting downstream equipment.
Coagulation and Flocculation
-
Enhancing Particle Removal: For some applications, a bio-flocculant may be added downstream of the TWA catalyst to further enhance the removal of fine suspended particles. The bio-flocculant helps clump these particles together, forming larger flocs that are easier to filter.

Filtration
-
Polishing and Purification: The final stage involves passing the treated water through a filtration system to remove the neutralized pollutants, suspended particles, and any remaining flocs. The type of filtration system used (e.g., sand filtration, multi-grade filtration, or membrane filtration) depends on the specific application and desired water quality.
Oxygen Enrichment
-
Enhanced Revitalization: The negative ions from the TWA catalyst then interact with oxygen molecules, generating nascent oxygen (O⁻) ions. These highly reactive ions further oxidize residual pollutants and increase dissolved oxygen levels, revitalizing the water body and supporting healthy aquatic life.
By combining these stages, TWA Aqua Technology provides a comprehensive and sustainable water treatment solution that effectively removes pollutants, neutralizes hardness, and improves overall water quality without the need for harmful chemicals.
